Survivor story

Sexual Assault @ Location City, State.

Original story

Message of Healing

not sure yet, I must clear these obstacles before that happens

I am a 45 year old amputee (dominant arm) and I was sexually assaulted by my manager, a 21 year old woman, Name at Location.. City, State. She lived on the property and worked the front desk at Location City with her lover Name 2(age 19). I said at work that I had no family or friends, and Name invited me over to her house on Location property (Location 2) on the night of Date. When Name 2 was in the other room, Name 1 got up in my face and asked me if I wanted "a tight pussy". I started to respond but she had her hand flat on my chest and told me "don't talk". Then Name 2 came back in the room she told me I'm a "grown ass man and I need to take the bus home now", and it was 10:30 PM in a bad neighborhood. I didn't talk about it, I had known this woman at work for about a month at this point, and she was my training manager from day one. I didn't want to rock the boat. A couple days later at work the owner (Name 3) and head of the HR department took me and another employee (Name 4) off to the side and Name 3 said "Name 5, guys and girls can't hang out at work together because it makes the girls not want to come to work". Apparently, when Name 1 and Name 2 realized that they could be fired and evicted and not be together anymore, they both went to Name 3 and told him I was being sexually inappropriate. When I reported Name 1 and Name 2 to the Local Sheriff Department., there was already a report that I sexually assaulted both of them multiple times, stalked them and threatened to kill them. After losing my right arm 9 years ago I chose the animal care industry for my career path because of the uplifting emotional return I get from working with animals. Location was my second job in the animal care industry. I'm 4 classes from being done with my business Management Degree so I don't have to work for minimum wage anymore. Now my chosen career path is blocked by a woman half my age trying to cover up sexual assault she committed on me, an amputee coworker twice her age. She even put a restraining order on me so I can't approach the person who needed to be told (Name 3) of the sexual assault Name 1 committed on Date. After that every attempt to report her through the Certified US Mail or UPS was refused delivery or just disappeared after being signed for by Name 6 their dog groomer. I kept all the tracking receipts for those ignored reports of sexual assault, I have the unopened and returned Certified US Mail , and I have Name 7 (Name 3's wife) on video threatening me with legal action when I tried to personally deliver the report of sexual assault to the head of HR in their lobby. The entire front desk of women at Location City State are complicit in covering up sexual assault on an amputee by refusing Certified US Mail/UPS or just plain perjuring themselves to the Sheriff. This is a significant roadblock to my new career path as an amputee. Rights groups for women were founded and empowered so that crimes like this would stop happening to women in the workplace, not so they can be committed by women in the workplace. Name 7

Grounding activity

Find a comfortable place to sit. Gently close your eyes and take a couple of deep breaths - in through your nose (count to 3), out through your mouth (count of 3). Now open your eyes and look around you. Name the following out loud:

5 – things you can see (you can look within the room and out of the window)

4 – things you can feel (what is in front of you that you can touch?)

3 – things you can hear

2 – things you can smell

1 – thing you like about yourself.

Take a deep breath to end.

From where you are sitting, look around for things that have a texture or are nice or interesting to look at.

Hold an object in your hand and bring your full focus to it. Look at where shadows fall on parts of it or maybe where there are shapes that form within the object. Feel how heavy or light it is in your hand and what the surface texture feels like under your fingers (This can also be done with a pet if you have one).

Take a deep breath to end.

Ask yourself the following questions and answer them out loud:

1. Where am I?

2. What day of the week is today?

3. What is today’s date?

4. What is the current month?

5. What is the current year?

6. How old am I?

7. What season is it?

Take a deep breath to end.

Put your right hand palm down on your left shoulder. Put your left hand palm down on your right shoulder. Choose a sentence that will strengthen you. For example: “I am powerful.” Say the sentence out loud first and pat your right hand on your left shoulder, then your left hand on your right shoulder.

Alternate the patting. Do ten pats altogether, five on each side, each time repeating your sentences aloud.

Take a deep breath to end.

Cross your arms in front of you and draw them towards your chest. With your right hand, hold your left upper arm. With your left hand, hold your right upper arm. Squeeze gently, and pull your arms inwards. Hold the squeeze for a little while, finding the right amount of squeeze for you in this moment. Hold the tension and release. Then squeeze for a little while again and release. Stay like that for a moment.

Take a deep breath to end.
