Message to a Survivor
You are loved. You will be loved. There’s not a stronger person than you have been. I’m proud of you. You will get there.
Message of Healing
Don’t let others tell you what’s best for you. You will know.
I want to say my story so at least someone hears it. I was 15 he was 16 but much larger and stronger then me. He was a friend at first but we both grew to he feelings for each other. Within the first few months I found out he cheated on me. From there I was ready to leave him but he grew possessive and blackmailed me into staying with him. He had pictures and videos I didn’t know he even saved or took. The mental abuse turned physical as not a day went past where he wouldn’t hurt me or use my body for his satisfaction. It took me 2 years to get out of It. But I am still facing the pain still. I live in a small town and see his face more then I should. I am reminded of what he did by the way he looks at me or makes snide comments every time he sees me. I’m nearly 20.
