Is it considered sexual abuse if the age difference is 6 1/2 years, and the abuser is over 18 years old?

In the United States, the age of consent varies by state, mostly ranging from 16-18 years old. In many jurisdictions, if the survivor is under the age of consent, sexual contact with someone over 18 years old can be considered sexual abuse, regardless of the specific age difference between the individuals involved.
It's important to note that any sexual contact without consent is also considered sexual abuse, regardless of the age difference.
