Cierra los ojos suavemente y respira profundamente un par de veces: inhala por la nariz (cuenta hasta 3), exhala por la boca (cuenta hasta 3). Ahora abre los ojos y mira a tu alrededor. Nombra lo siguiente en voz alta: 5 – cosas que puedes ver (puedes mirar dentro de la habitación y por la ventana) 4 – cosas que puedes sentir (¿qué hay frente a ti que puedas tocar?) 3 – cosas que puedes oír 2 – cosas que puedes oler 1 – cosa que te gusta de ti mismo. Respira hondo para terminar. Desde donde estás sentado, busca objetos con textura o que sean bonitos o interesantes. Sostén un objeto en la mano y concéntrate completamente en él. Observa dónde caen las sombras en algunas partes o quizás dónde se forman formas dentro del objeto. Siente lo pesado o ligero que es en la mano y cómo se siente la textura de la superficie bajo los dedos (esto también se puede hacer con una mascota, si tienes una). Respira hondo para terminar. Hazte las siguientes preguntas y respóndelas en voz alta: 1\. ¿Dónde estoy? 2\. ¿Qué día de la semana es hoy? 3\. ¿Qué fecha es hoy? 4\. ¿En qué mes estamos? 5\. ¿En qué año estamos? 6\. ¿Cuántos años tengo? 7\. ¿En qué estación estamos? Respira hondo para terminar. Coloca la palma de la mano derecha sobre el hombro izquierdo. Coloca la palma de la mano izquierda sobre el hombro derecho. Elige una frase que te fortalezca. Por ejemplo: "Soy poderoso". Di la oración en voz alta primero y da una palmadita con la mano derecha en el hombro izquierdo, luego con la mano izquierda en el hombro derecho. Alterna las palmaditas. Da diez palmaditas en total, cinco de cada lado, repitiendo cada vez las oraciones en voz alta. Respira hondo para terminar. Cruza los brazos frente a ti y llévalos hacia el pecho. Con la mano derecha, sujeta el brazo izquierdo. Con la mano izquierda, sujeta el brazo derecho. Aprieta suavemente y lleva los brazos hacia adentro. Mantén la presión un rato, buscando la intensidad adecuada para ti en ese momento. Mantén la tensión y suelta. Luego, vuelve a apretar un rato y suelta. Mantén la presión un momento.
